Royal College Drama Comp 2003

The Interact Club of Royal College are organising a Drama Comp - which is a much-awaited drama competition, for the 18th consecutive year. Drama Comp is said only to be second to the inter-school Shakespeare Drama Competition.

Unlike in the Shakespeare Competition, schools are at liberty to choose whatever play they want. This event exposes raw talent and gives the much-needed exposure to young talented dramatists. Last year Ladies College Colombo emerged champions.

The organising committee have decided as in previous years to give awards for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Back Stage Manager and Best Non-speaking role.

The interactors have given priority to this much-awaited project, where the organising committee has 22 members who are divided into groups such as publicity, printing etc.

This year the Interact Club will have the semi-finals on January 14 and finals on the 18th at the Lionel Wendt Theatre.
