ANCL media to sponsor two-day Trade Exhibition

The Mannar district office of the Sri Lanka Army has taken steps to design and construct a special house for the families of the armed forces who go to Mannar from the South and for the use of the families of the army personnel posted in several locations within Mannar district.

With a view to raising funds necessary for the construction of this house, the Army has organised a two-day exhibition and a `Salpila' today and tomorrow at the Taladi Army Camp, in which a number of business enterprises will participate. The Lake House Group of newspapers will also have a trade stall. In addition, various musical groups along with well-known singers will entertain the public visiting the trade stalls. There will be a live telecast of all events over a TV channel.

The exhibition and trade fair is being held with the guidance of the Commander of Mannar district, Brig. K. S. Fernando.
