Latvian delegates visit NCCSL Senior officials and members of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) met the high-powered Latvian trade delegation, led by Arnis Anchupans, Honourary Consul for Sri Lanka in Latvia, last week at the NCCSL Secretariat. The delegation comprised business people representing steel construction, tertiary education, shipping companies and importers of tea and the resident and senior officials of the Trade Association of Latvia. They had successful business meetings with a number of member companies of NCCSL representing steel, construction, education, shipping and tea imports. It was decided to sign a memorandum of understanding between the NCCSL and the Latvian Trade Association to work on a joint program to enhance trade and business between the two countries. NCCSL will act as the focal point for the members of the Latvian Trade Association and the Latvian Trade Association will act as the focal point in Latvia for NCCSl members. |
