Former Sri Lankan Vet launches Tamil Book in Australia

Tamil literature has lately been enriched by the contributions of expatriate Sri Lankan Tamil writers. In the past few years, some of them have been honoured in Sri Lanka with Sahitiya Awards in recognition of their valuable literary works.

Dr.N.S.Nadesn, now an Australian citizen and a Veterinary Surgeon by profession, has brought out a collection of short stories in Tamil . Titled "Living Footsteps", many of Dr.Nadesan's short stories revolve around the pet animals he deals with in his daily professional life. Two of the short stories included in this collection were previously published in the leading South Indian Tamil weekly magazine "Kumudam".

Dr.Nadesan's new publication will be launched at a function to be held on Sunday 16th March in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr Nadesan graduated from Peradenia University in Sri Lanka
