Sudarshini leads Sri Lanka women's cricketers to West Indies

Sudarshini Sivanathan captains a strong Sri Lanka women's team to the West Indies. She will have the services of veteran players like Gayathri Kariyawasam, Wasanthi Ratnayake, Hiruka Fernando, vice captain Chamani Seneviratne, Hiroshi Abeysinghe, off-spinner Ramani Perera, Rose Fernando, not forgetting the likes of Sandamali Dolewatte, Thanuja Ekanayake, Randika Galhenege, Indika Kankanage and Sasikala Siriwardene, K. M. Indrani and Janakanthi Mala to strengthen the squad.

Nihal Kodittuwakku will coach the team while Mrs C. Munaweera will manage the affairs behind the scenes.

Tour itinerary:

March 8: Arrival in West Indies, March 9-10: Practice.

March 11: One-day International - vs St. Vincent, Grenada (warm-up), March 13: One-day International vs West Indies, March 15: One-day International vs Trinidad and Tobago, March 16: One-day International vs West Indies, March 18: ODI vs West Indies at Trinidad, March 20. ODI vs West Indies at St. Vincent, Grenada, March 22: ODI vs West Indies, March 23 ODI vs West Indies.

The West Indies squad:
