The LTTE will participate at the sixth round of peace talks in Hakone , in Japan on Tuesday , but its delegation will lodge a strong protest to the government negotiators about the Mullaitivu incident at the beginning of the talks.

FM reprimands Iraq envoy

Foreign Minister Tyronne Fernando on Friday warned the Charge de Affairs of Iraq in Sri Lanka W. Abbas to be cautious about stirring up anti-war protests and demonstrations with regard to the current conflict situation between the United States of America and Iraq.
