DE SILVA ­ MRS SRIMATHIE SWARNALATHA   Wife of late Mr B.R. de Silva, ‘Tripitakachariya’, Chartered Accountant, mother of Nihal, late Jayantha & Sriyanthi, mother-in-law of Indra and Prasanna Muthuthanthri, daughter of late Mr & Mrs Arthur V. Dias of Panadura, passed away and was cremated on 17.03.2003. Her eyes were donated to Give Sight. She encouraged and supported her late husband in founding an institution which developed and guided many a career, business. She touched many lives with kindness. Anyone reading this have a kind thought for her, which will be good ‘Kamma’ for the thinker and such thoughts will assist the departed in her ‘Samsaric’ Journey.  

FUARD - (nee Talagala)   At Rest. Beatrice Janet Talagala daughter of late Mr & Mrs D.J. Talagala, wife of late Mr J.D. Fuard. She passed away peacefully after a brief illness her mortal remains were Cremated at General Cemetery, Kanatte on 15th March 2003. The funeral was private according to her wishes.   18, Jambugasmulla Rd, Nugegoda.

Beloved sister of Shelton, Leslie, Joe, Sr. Christine (Salvatorian), Bridget, Upali (Canada), Sr. Sherine (Perpetual Help), Jayanthi (St. Joseph’s College) and Sunil, sisterin-law of Sunimal (CIS), Srima, Ranjani, late Ariyaratne, Silvie, Shelton and Geetha, expired. NOORUL INAYA SALEEM   Beloved wife of late A.R.M. Saleem of Matara, daughter of late D.B. Abdul Cader and Zainab Naachia of Weligama, much loved mother of Safinaz, Farhana, Shamila and Shihama, mother-in-law of A.I.M. Saleem and Ifham Saheed, precious grandmother of Kabeer and sister of Fathima, expired on Wednesday 5th March 2003. Beloved husband of Blossom, loving father of Dudley (Australia), Sandra (UK), Henri (Superlink), Sandrine, Sandro (Gulf Air) and Sherine, father-in-law of Jennifer (Australia), Carl (UK), Anne, James, Dhammith and Jeffery, brother of Bernie and late Chad, Glennie, Callixtus Cordie and Ubaldus, brother-in-law of Dolly, Edna, Harold (Australia) and Therese. SAEED KUMALA DEVI (Geeva) nee Meedin.   Dearly beloved wife of Mohamed Saeed (UK), daughter of Marhoom D.A.H. Meedin and Marhooma Nona Zam Zam, sister of Binthayon Saldin Ted (U.K.) Marhooma, Fareena Salim, Marhoom Raja, expired on 15-03-03.
