Nationalised services TT team in Bangkok tourney

A twenty-member table tennis team (both men and women) from the Nationalised Services Table Tennis Association will participate in the F.C.C. Challenge Cup tournament to be held in Bangkok from May 27 to June 2.

This is the first tour abroad undertaken by the Nationalised Services Table Tennis Association and it has been the blessings of the Table Tennis Federation of Sri Lanka and this tour will no doubt benefit the players a great deal.

The players in the touring party: Ira Ruwanpathirana (People's Bank), Ajith Ratnayake (People's Bank), H. Silva, P. Selvamohan and Ama Suraweera (all SLRC), W.M. Sarath, Prabath Indrajith, Waruna Gunawardena, M.N.C. Perera (all NSB), P.P. Dassanayake (CPC), W.P.N. Dammika (Ports Authority), M.M. Anurashantha, H.K. Tilakananda, A.K. Nilanthi (all SLIC), G.L. Ratnasiri (EDB), R. Attanayake (Water Board), P.S. de Silva (Government Press), S. Chandrasena (B of C), P. Colombothanthri (BCC), H. Gamage (SLCTB).

Chef de Mission: Mr. Wijesinghe Kumarage (NSB), Team Manager: Mr. B.R. Mallikaratne (B of C).

Tee shirts and travelling bags for the team have been provided by the Card Centre of the People's Bank.
