New CD from Lalith

Singer/musician Lalith Perera's latest CE and title track "Pappa Samaga Doo-Daru Kele" is a dedication to a father who sacrificed his life and wealth for the sake of his children but did not find happiness in the end. The video is now being telecast on Rupavahini as well as on other electronic media.

The CD contains besides 'Pappa Samaga' an original by Lalith Perera, three other songs composed by Hemasiri Halpita. According to Lalith the other originals by him are 'Katta Kaluware', 'Sandawe' and 'Muhudu Relle'.

One time drummer with 'Jayasri' in Austria, Lalith took the opportunity to further his knowledge and skill by availing himself of a formal training in music in Austria, which has helped him immensely in the pursuit of his solo career.
