Following concerns expressed by President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga that accommodating Tiger cadres in five hotels in close proximity to the President's House that her life would be in danger, IGP T.E. Anandarajah has recommended to authorities that in future LTTE cadres should not be allowed to seek accommodation in hotels within the High Security Zone.

The IGP said that he has directed all hotels within the High Security Zone not to provide accommodation to LTTE cadres if they know their true identities. (S.S.)
