Japanese special envoy on Sri Lankan Affairs Yasushi Akashi, who attended the follow-up Tokyo aid meeting in Colombo, paid his last respects to the Most Venerable Madihe Pannaseeha Maha Nayake Thera at the Vajiraramaya, Bambalapitiya on Friday. It was a rare moment for Akashi to pay homage to a great monk in the Sub-continent.
