The Lion Rock and its precincts still proclaim the magnificence of the 5th century palace complex that was - bearing testimony to an awesome command of hydraulic technology and architectural, landscaping and artistic skills, sadly lost to present generations. A recent plan by the Tourism Ministry to stage a show at the site to entertain and attract more tourists has reportedly stirred hornet's nest.
