PA’s new look

With blue-clad Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapakse in the lead, recent People’s Alliance public gatherings are taking on a predominantly blue tinge, as this photo of last week’s PA protest demonstration in Polonnaruwa shows. The original Alliance mix of SLFP blue and the red of the marxist LSSP and CP seems to be replaced by an SLFP monochrome. SLFP MPs Maithripala Sirisena and Nimal Siripala de Silva are also in the picture.
