Plea for kidney

Young school teacher, Miss Ramani Nonis (30), suffering from renal failure is lying critically ill at the Kandy General Hospital under the care of Dr. Tilak Abeysekera. She needs a kidney transplant urgently.

Save his life

Shanuka Chamikara Hettiarachchi (2 1/2 years) of 190B, Imbulgoda, Amunugoda,Gampaha is suffering from an acute heart ailment. Doctors have prescribed an early heart surgery to save his life. The surgery is estimated to cost Rs. 250,000 and his parents say they are unable to bear the expenses.

They request philanthropists and general public to kindly contribute whatever possible towards their child's cause.
