MTI doubles Sri Lankan operations

MTI Consulting have scaled up their Sri Lankan operations by doubling the strength of their consulting team inspired by their success and confident in the future in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka will be the regional office for South East Asia and the number of clients and projects are ever inreasing said a spokesman.

MTI sees the demand for high quality, bottom-line driven business strategy consulting increasing, as Sri Lanka is poised to follow the business development lifecycle of the Asian Tiger Economies like Malaysia and Thailand.

The delivery of our projects are effective and efficient and we always work in partnership with the client. They bring the industry specific knowledge while we give the 8S model. But we never give ready made solutions.

MTI always focus heavily on implementation and we are with the client through the project life cycle as we consider our success as our clients success. We don't give reports but are action oriented through a planscape.

MTI always maintain project exclusivity by not allocating the same consultant to similar projects at least for a period of six months.

"After a long and diligent search process, we have hand picked 5 extremely talented consultants with a passion for consulting - which is the most important differentiator that MTI looks for. Our new team brings a mix of professional, consulting, industry and academic experience from UK, Australia, India and Sri Lanka" said Mr. Lasantha Abeywickrema the Director/Senior Consultant of MTI Sri Lanka.

"Sri Lanka is a very important market for MTI due to business and personal reasons and we are committed to make Sri Lanka a model market for the MTI world, he added. The new Consulting team will be subject to 'The MTI Way' an intensive training and culturalisation process that grooms MTI talent" said Hilmy Cader, the Bahrain based CEO.

MTI's services have been used by Sri Lanka's leading blue chips including Hayleys, MAS Holdings, Delmege, Ace Cargo, Bank of Ceylon, SriLankan Airlines and DIMO . In the last 6 years, MTI Solutions have been used by clients in 25 countries across 37 product/service categories.

Dhanushka Jayakody, MTI's home grown talent, steps into the Consulting Team, armed with a Dip M from CIM (UK), in his final stage of the University of Wales MBA and consulting experience in Sri Lanka and Oman, Dhanushka will work on business strategy consulting and strategic planning assignments.

Ruvantha Jayasinghe fully qualified CIMA and just completing his MBA from University of Wales will focus on business analysis and strategic decision analysis.

"While all our consultants will have their core competencies, in keeping with the MTI Way they will do so within an integrated business strategy perspective, focussed on the bottom-line. Because it matters finally and that is what we have successfully delivered to our clients in 25 countries" said Hilmy Cader.
