Fast & Furious GIG : Speed and Rock & Roll Is Rock Company too fast and too furious? Fast Cars, Speed and Rock'n Roll. To say 2003 has been eventful is like saying Jimmy Hendrix can play guitar, or Iron Maiden plays nursery rhymes. Rock'n Roll and Heavy Metal has always been connected to an anti-social lifestyle, you know all that sex, all that booze... and well yeah you guessed it - Rock'n Roll.
December 27 will feature some of the coolest, fastest Drag racing you'll ever witness on our very own streets, followed by a cacophony of Rock mayhem at the CR & FC Club House; the perfect after party soundtrack for the Speed Kings and Queens - The December Rock Saturday which is titled the Fast & Furious Gig. With all the big guns in the Island from Independent Square, Paranoid Earthling, Stone Broke, Whirlwind, Ezra and Stigmata on the playing list to dish out some undiluted, in your-face-tunes of raw energy. Originality and uncontrollable chaos will merge to give fans (irrespective of their preferred genre - that being fast cars speed and Rock'n roll) a time of their lives. Don't miss out on the Fast and Furious Gig on Saturday December 27 at the CR & FC Club House - perfect venue - providing shelter in the case of nasty weather or a garden Rock party atmosphere if fair weather prevails - for the most out going or the most reserved of fans. Rock Company that was revived to support development of original rock music has achieved that and much more by setting in motion an avalanche that is being referred to as the new revolution sweeping Sri Lanka. The Fast & Furious Gig will be a fitting event to end a very successful year on a high note. We advise all of you to join us to walk into the gates of a new dawn and bear witness to the unstoppable assent of Metallic Angels! The Wicker Man |
