NIIT Students gain Direct admission to Northumbria

NIIT, a global leader in IT Education & Training, has formed a strategic alliance with the Northumbria University, UK, enabling NIIT students who complete the 2-Year Diploma of NIIT (DNIIT) in Sri Lanka to directly enter the final year of the BSc (Hons) Applied Computing Programme at Northumbria University.

Sunimal Weerasooriya, Managing Director of NIIT-Sri Lanka stated that this is a unique opportunity for NIIT students in Sri Lanka to complete an IT Degree with just 1-Year's study in UK at a leading International University. He further stated that this recognition by University of Northumbria further proves the quality of the NIIT curriculum and its relevance to the current international standards.
