New range of personal care products The Indian-based global leader in herbal healthcare, Himalaya Herbals, announced the launch of its premium personal care range, beauty clinic and sales outlet in Colombo 3. The company will offer herbal beauty treatments. The clinic has the latest equipment and offers a wide range of beauty treatments by experienced and qualified beauticians to attend to the personal care needs of consumers. The clinic will also market the entire Himalaya Herbals range. Himalaya Herbals was introduced to Sri Lanka by the herbal arm of Mega Pharma Ltd, Herbotech Ltd. The company had been marketing Himalaya's pharmaceuticals range in Sri Lanka for over seven years. The Himalaya Drug Company's President and CEO, Ravi Prasad said: "Our main objective is to provide personal care products for the entire family at a reasonable price". He said profits are not their main objective; they are concentrating on providing global brands. The company is presently operating in more than 50 countries, competing with international brands in India, USA, South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific. Herbotech Sri Lanka Head Shirantha Peiris said Himalaya has always been committed to providing world class products to meet the needs and daily requirements of consumers.
