Central Province TT team tours Maldives

The Central Provincial Table Tennis team on invitation from the Table Tennis Association of the Republic of Maldives will be on a short tour of Maldives from January 5 to 12.

The following is the touring team (players): Nadini Sasimali Samaraweera, Madhuka Nirmani Silva, Thakshila Rasanjali Herath, Rajitha Suvimal Samaraweera, Milindu Keerthiratne, Gayan Lakmal Rajanagapathi, Chatura Bandara Seneviratne, Thilini Keerthiratne, M. M. Shanika Niroshani Silva, Gihan Madushka Liyanage, Mangala Wimalasiri, A. D. Wadugodapitiya (captain of the girls team), Samindi Wickramasinghe, Hasitha Niromal Samaraweera (captain of the boys team), Gayan Champika Liyanage.

Officials: Daya Samaraweera, Suptd. of Police, Trincomalee & President of the CPTTA, K. H. N. Sampathkumara, (Student of Sri Jayawardenapura Univeristy & Tournament Secretary CPTTA), Mrs. R. R. Gunathilake, Lady Chaperon (Teacher in Charge Pushpadana Girls School, Kandy).

The Central Province team will have five matches with the Junior National Table Tennis Champions of Maldives.
