The Indian High Commission, has requested non-resident Indians, especially those who have so far not registered their particulars with the Consular Wing of the Mission, to register at the earliest. The mission requires information in respect of NRI families including children, residing in Sri Lanka, place of work, name of the company, official/residential address in Sri Lanka, e-mail address, telephone numbers including emergency contact numbers, postal addresses in India with telephone numbers, passport details, along with their passport-size photographs. A number of Indian nationals are also employed as skilled labour in the country and the mission is also seeking information about them. NRIs, who had registered their particulars with the High Commission in the recent past, have been requested to provide updated information about themselves at the High Commission, which may be forwarded to the Consular Wing by post. Consular Assistant of the Mission is available on telephone numbers: 2421605 / 2422788 / 2422789 and Extn. 605 (Consular Wing).
