Aussies here on Feb 14

The Australian cricketers will arrive in the island on February 14 on a 44-day tour for a 5-match one-day series and 3 Test matches against Sri Lanka.

Led by Ricky Ponting, the tourists will commence their tour with a limited over practice match on February 17 against a Board XI ahead of the first ODI, a day-night on February 20 at the Dambulla Stadium with the second one on February 22 also at the Dambulla Stadium and the third, a day-night on February 25 in Colombo at the R. Premadasa Stadium and the fourth on February 27 also a day-night at the R. Premadasa Stadium with the fifth on February 29 at the SSC.

The first Test match from March 8-12 will be played at Galle, the second Test from March 16-20 at Asgiriya, a 3-day practice match against a Board XI from March 2-4 at Moratuwa ahead of the third and final Test match from March 25-29 at the SSC. The Aussies take wing back home on March 29.
