Bid to promote premium quality Ceylon Tea

The HVA Group is the exporting and marketing branch of Misty Mountains Holdings Ltd (Misty Mountains) (MMHL)operating as Heladiv Fine Tea N (pvt) Ltd (Heladiv)

Misty Mountains targets the production and sale of environmentally friendly shade grown and fair trade premium speciality and classical teas from some of the world's finest tea producing properties.

Heladiv and Misty Mountains will build upon the immense international success of HVA in building the HELADIV brand in the global hot and cold tea markets. with their commitment to premium quality Ceylon Tea the marketing and production strength of this new corporate combination will power the HELADIV and MISTY MOUNTAINS brands to global leadership.

To commercialise the Misty Mountains vision Roger Collis has been appointed as President of MMHL. Collis who resides in USA and UK at present has held leadership positions in international business, government and the non-profit sector. Misty Mountains is the acquiring and development company which intends to build a new style of fully integrated international tea firm.

Rohan Fernando President of Heladiv and a director of MMHL, said that Collis has an exceptionally strong knowledge of marketing , management practices, economic development and environment sustainability and a proven track record of accomplishment.

Collis is currently a business advisor to several corporations in the USA dealing with software development, wireless communications, and proprietary technology. He is an excellent visionary, strategic planner, and task force co-ordinator. Acting as a change agent he is able to cut through complexity and economic / political constraints to meet objectives and get results. He has served on numerous boards and as an advisor to various governmental agencies and committees.

He will be developing operational structures, consolidating resources and capabilities of the operating units, expanding and developing a strong global marketing and brand presence. Collis will be based in Colombo and at MMHL corporate headquarters in Nuwara Eliya.
