BIDTI course for teaching of English

The Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute has launched a Course in its current programme of activities on the subject of the teaching of English to English Language Teachers.

The Course which commenced on January 29 and scheduled to last till around the middle of April, is designed for teachers of English in Sri Lankan schools and it has attracted around 35 participants.

The Course has been planned by Mrs Lakshmie Cumaranatunga who is an authority in the field of English. She is assisted by a number of other eminent lecturers. Through the medium of its participants it ensures that teachers of the English language have a proper knowledge of English to promote it in schools realising progressively universality of the knowledge of English in the nation.
