Peradeniya University get three wins

Peradeniya University cricket team, which won the Inter-University Tournament two years back, has continued its run of success in this year's Sri Lanka Cricket div. III tournament. At the time of writing, they have won three out of three games and are poised to enter the next round.

Former Antonian Suneth Chandraratne who captured the side led the team well. Sunjay Wijesena (ex. D. S. Senanayake) and Brian Perera (ex Joseph Vaz) too contributed to the success of the team.

Beat Old Sylvestrians by 75 runs

University 239 in 50 overs (B. Perera 37, P. Chandraratne 25, C. Seneviratne 78 not out, P. Dharmasena 15, R. Jayatissa 3 for 20).
