Stars of '70s on March 21

Once again the leading lights of the '70s will be centre stage at the BMICH Sunday March 21 as the Past Pupils Association of Dharmasoka College (Colombo Branch) have organised a fund raiser for on-going projects of the College, especially for the swimming pool and for indoor sports facilities.

The show which will be as usual presented by Annesley Malawana will see guest stars from the '50s like Vincent de Paul Pieris of 'Siripade' and 'Bicycale' fame and Christopher Paul, who was associated with hits 'Hal Mal Pinne' and 'Eladola Ganga.'

The '70s stars will be Noel Ranasinghe and La Ceylonians, Indrani Perera, Anil Bhareti, Priya Pieris, Joe B. Perera of Meemesso, Errol Fernando of Los Cabeleros the Dharmaratne Brothers and Annesley Malawana. From the contemporary scene A.E. Manoharan, Rajiv Sebastian and Dalreen Suby will be featured. The musical backing will be handled by Mahesh and Simple and Channa's Dance Troupe will lend glamour to the concert.

The show will be compered by Vijaya Corea. The official print media sponsors will be Sunday Observer, Daily News and Sarasaviya.
