Sebastianites struggle to force draw in "Battle of Golds"

The 54th annual 'Big match' between Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa and St. Sebastian's College ended in an exciting draw at De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa.

In reply to Cambrians overnight total of 173 for 9 declared, Sebastianites were all out for 120. In their second essay, Cambrians were all out for 121 runs.

Set to make 175 runs for victory the Sebastians were 87 for 7 at the close when bad light stopped play. Nisal Vithanage had a splendid figurs of 5 for 29 for Cambrians. This is the 27th consecutive draw in the series.
