People disapprove of JHU monks conduct - Malwatte Mahanayaka by Pradeep Kumara Dharmaratne The Mahanayaka Thera of the Malwatte chapter Most Venerable Rambukwelle Sri Vipassi has said that the people greatly disapproved of the conduct of the Jathika Hela Urumaya Buddhist monks in Parliament during the elections for the post of Speaker. The Mahanayaka Thera said "a great disapproval has risen in the minds of the people at the manner in which the monks of the Jathika Hela Urumaya conducted themselves at the elections held for the post of Speaker, last Thursday. The Mahanayaka Theras intend to discuss this matter at length. He said "that in future all must act unitedly with one mind". |
