Kodak digital store in Mt. Lavinia Studio Lakdam and Digital Colour Lab owned by Alfred Silva, the veteran Photographer, is now a site that houses the Noritsu 3101, the latest Noritsu QSS Digital Lab. "This machine produces high precision prints at a very high speed making it an ideal one to meet the needs and the ever-increasing demands of today's sophisticated wedding photographs", said Alfred Silva. Awais Ahmed, Business Manager, Kodak distributor markets, who flew over here especially for the occasion, declared the store open. "The only other Noritsu 3101 Digital Minilab in the country is at Millers Limited, the distributor for Kodak in Sri Lanka, which makes Studio Lakdam and Digital Colour Lab , the first customer of Millers Ltd. and Kodak to make this investment," said Kumar Swaminathan, Marketing Manager, Millers Ltd. "Millers have a competent team of engineers trained in Japan to service this machine as service and support are absolutely essential," he said. The QSS 3101 combines the latest in Digital technology with the technology of Silver Halide Photography, providing high quality images on conventional photographic paper and more sophisticated finishes such as Kodak's metallic paper. The environment at the store conforms to Kodak's international digital retail concept, thus enhancing the experience of the customers patronising the store.
