Seylan Bank rewards senior citizens

Seylan Bank, having recognised the important role of senior citizens in nurturing the future generation, has given pride of place in its front office with a dedicated staff member to serve their needs in its branches.

Senior citizens would be issued with a special identity card on submission of which a specially designated staff member would immediately attend to their banking needs. Adopting a holistic approach, the bank provides free membership to the packaged medical care provided by Ceylinco SwiftCare (Pvt) Ltd. As such, senior citizens maintaining any account with Seylan Bank would have their health needs attended to by dialling the Ceylon SwiftCare hotline.

In addition, all senior citizens who are qualified under the Merit Rewards scheme would receive a valuable wristwatch on their next birthday on a one off basis.

They would also be entitled to the other benefits of Merit Rewards such as reimbursement of surgical expenses etc accruing under the Merit Rewards scheme for qualifiers.

An enhanced interest rate, on their time deposits, other than investments in government securities, is also provided. As per the vision of its Chairman Deshamanya Dr. Lalith Kotelawala, Seylan Bank has dedicated itself to serve the senior citizens of this country with due care and consideration, which they so richly deserve.

Senior citizens could look forward to real value addition that could come only from "the bank with a heart".
