Vesak Lanterns at ANCL

Around 70 Vesak Lanterns were displayed at the competition organised by the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited. The lanterns in various shapes, and colours depicted the artistry and the techniques of the competitors who had made them.A large number of people from Colombo and suburbs gathered to see the ANCL Vesak Lantern competition which was inaugurated by the Minister of Media Reginald Cooray.
