Colombo Plaza's swinging music team

A swinging music team provides delightful entertainment for patrons at the lobby of the Colombo Plaza daily from early afternoon right through till midnight. The day starts off with a mix of soft piano music played by the now recognised pianists Tamara, Arosha and Shane.

Their repertoire extends from standards, popular songs to semi classics - yours to enjoy from 12 noon to 5.00 pm. Sooner than later the Philharmonia Players and the Euphoria Strings quartet to set a haunting and sentimental mood until dusk sets in. And then as the clock ticks by, the tempo is stepped up by two groups of musicians who provide a varied selection of toe tapping oldies and contemporary songs.

On Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays the band Quest will be in action while on Tuesdays and Thursdays the outfit Unlimited will help you unwind after a stressful and busy day.
