Hyundai car awaits winner of hole-in-one at ladies golf A Hyundai Santre Xing car is on offer to the winner of the hole-in-one at the 9th at the 3rd Hyundai Challenge Trophy Ladies Golf Championship of the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) to be teed off on Friday (June 11) at the Ridgeways. The Managing Director of Hyundai Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Heinz Reuter, said that his establishment was very pleased to sponsor this tournament for the third occasion and that it was a "pleasure to work with the ladies than men "due to their enthusiasm". He further said that he hoped that someone will drive away in the Hyundai Santre Xing even this year. The captain of the RCGC Ladies Section, Anne Captain, said that they were delighted with Hyundai coming forward to sponsor this tournament again- an event which is significant as the RCGC celebrates its 125th anniversary this year. She disclosed that there were about 45 entries so far and expected more to enter the field in the next few days. The event is to be worked off in three divisions - `A' from scratch to 20 handicap, `B' 21 to 36 handicap and `C' for non handicap players who will play only 9 holes. This is a stableford competition with trophies been awarded to the overall best gross and best nett players. Many other prizes and surprises are on offer. The prize distribution will take place at 7 p.m. also on Friday. Among the others who were present at the briefing were Anusha Senadhira (Vice-Captain of RCGC Ladies Section), Dinali de Zoysa (Secretary of RCGC Ladies Section), Chula de Silva and Ryan Todd (Sales Manager of Hyundai Lanka pvt Ltd).
