Former Test umpire passes away Sri Lanka Cricket regrets to announce the death of T. M. Samarasinghe, former Test umpire who passed away after a brief illness on June 4. Born and schooled in Kurunegala, Samarasinghe took to umpiring in 1968 and retired from active umpiring in 2002 at the age of 60. |
