CHC links with People's Bank

by Beverley Jansz

The Ceylon Hotels Corporation (CHC) has linked with the People's Bank to accept hotel reservation from any part of the country. The CHC owns and manages 21 resthouses, resorts, motels and 'Inns' in various parts of the country.

This new concept has been introduced by the new Chairman of the Ceylon Hotels Corporation, Chandra Mohotti, a veteran hotelier on the advice of Deptuty General Manager (Finance), Palitha Kannangara.

Senior Manager (Marketing/Travel) Ranjith Balasuriya and his team of marketing experts will spare no pains to popularise all CHC properties, not only among Sri Lankans and expatriates but also foreign tourists.

Hitherto, guests had to visit the CHC head office at Bambalapitiya to make hotel reservations. With the implementation of the new scheme any Sri Lankan, expatriate or foreign tourist could make their hotel reservations through any major branch of the People's Bank, in any part of the country, Balasuriya said.
