CEAT launches 'XL Super' tyres Sri Lanka's pneumatic tyre manufacturer CEAT has announced a promotion which offers an extended warranty for the new tyre launched in Sri Lanka for commercial goods carriers. End users of CEAT's 10.00-20 16 PR and 9.00-20 16 PR tyres branded 'XL SUPER' will receive completely free replacements in case of pre-mature failures due to manufacturing defects upto December 31, under this extended warranty, the company said. This is completely revolutionary in an industry where pro-rata replacement is the norm. "This scheme reflects our confidence in the quality of the tyre and demonstrates our commitment to customer satisfaction," CEAT's Vice President - Sales and Marketing Arwind Kumar Singh said. The XL SUPER tyres have been manufactured to give greater structural stability to vehicles carrying heavy loads, and have a premium tread compound for higher mileage. Singh said: "The XL SUPER tyres have superior features and have been tested rigorously and extensively for on-road performance." The new tyres, have been manufactured for trucks and are designed with superior groove depth to ensure a higher mileage and good road holding the tyres are crack resistant and ensure even tread wear. The new tyres also have an elegant buttress design which is ventilated for cooler running and is retread friendly. The tyre's tougher casing enables more retreads, he said. |
