Dialog GSM drops incoming call charges

Premier mobile phone company in the country "Dialog GSM," announcing its achievement of reaching a million subscriber base also revealed a series of customer rewards schemes including the erasing of incoming call charges "within the network" recently.

Dialog Chief Executive Dr Hans Wijayasuriya speaking at a media conference to announce the achievement of the million Milestone paid a warm tribute to Dialog subscribers for their loyal patronage. He said that nine years ago Dialog was a non entity in the business , but through sheer dedication and commitment, the company had reached its zenith in the mobile phone market in the country. \"I would like to assure our customers that we treasure the confidence that they have placed in us. This confidence will not be betrayed or misplaced and million milestone is the beginning of a new journey in innovation and service excellence," he said.

Sri Lanka is now well ahead on the world map of mobile telecommunications with the introduction of latest technology to our valued customers, Dr Wijayasuriya said.

General Manager Sales and Marketing Dialog GSM, Nushad Perera, while attributing the faith of a million Dialog customers and highlighted its flexibility and dynamism with which the company's 350 plus service professionals meet customer needs through revolutionary customer technology.

He said that the success behind the company is due to the proper customer focus while supporting the community at large. True to its strong tradition of support for the marginalised, Dialog GSM flagged off the million celebration with a hallmark pledge to support the development of the country's first Audiology Diagnostic Laboratory , he said.

Perera said that this is a Rs 25 million project, and it will be carried out in partnership with the Deaf and Blind School at Ratmalana. (HHS)
