Deepika - a TT double

Deepika Rodrigo of Lake House Sports Club achieved a double winning the women's doubles and the mixed doubles title at the Open All-Island Table Tennis Championships of St. John's Sports Club, Nugegoda for the Munidasa Gunasinghe Memorial Trophy played at S. Thomas' College indoor stadium, Mt. Lavinia.

Rodrigo took the women's singles defeating Kalpani Herath of Girls High School, Kandy and partnering Indika Prasad (Lake House SC) also won the mixed doubles defeating the combination of A. C. K. Udugama and Tharindu Samaraweera.

Rodrigo, partnered by Namal Gunasekera (Lake House SC) were placed runners-up in the open women's doubles event losing to Kalpani Herath and Upeka Kottinkaduwa in the finals.
