Aussies out to match Test squad by Ranjan Anandappa Like the Australian Test team who have played a dominant role in World cricket, the Aussie Indoor Cricket Team is out to emulate them in the Hutch World Indoor Cricket Tournament. The tournament will begin today at Thalawathugoda. The participating teams are: England, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Africa, United Arab Emirates (men's only) and host Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka men's team will be led by former Josephian and NCC cricketer Asela Pathirana and his deputy is former Peterite Chrishantha Pieris. The other members of the team are: Roshan Weerasinghe, Kolitha Nayanananda, Manoj Fernando, Sachindra Umayanga, Sanjeeva Jayaratne, Irosh de Silva, Dilshan Wwitharana, Thushendra Soysa. Manager: Thiran Thenabadu. Coach: Craig Slocombe. Sri Lanka Women's team: Rose Fernando (Captain), Gayathri Kariayawasam, Hiruka Fernando, Dilani Surnagika, Nilu Mendis, Lakmali Perera, Lasanthi Madushani, Gayathri Liyanage, Deepasika Perera, Deepika Rasangika, Lochini Perera, Dinesh Jayasinghe.
