NIIT launches 'Futurz Classic'

NIIT, has launched its high-end technology curriculum 'Futurz Classic' that incorporates the latest e-Commerce and Internet technologies. Under this learners would be trained on state-of-the-art technologies from Microsoft, Oracle and Sun Microsystems. Futurz Classic focuses on core concepts, software engineering and key technologies.

With software engineering concept integrated in the curriculum and live examples, students will be suitably equipped in solving real life software development problems of a diverse nature. Core concepts would strengthen the foundation and help in adapting to newer technologies, while Key Technologies, would provide with strong development and deployment skills for both desktop and mobile devices.

With Futurz Classic, based on NIIT's proprietary Model Centered Learning Architecture (MCLA) technology, students will be able to get a complete learning of the prevalent architectures including .Net and J2EE. This will help them in adapting to newer architecture anywhere in the world, thereby enhancing their individual competitiveness.

NIIT is obsessed with finding ways to increase learners' retention, involvement, and skills transfer at workplace, and after years of extensive research NIIT's Instructional Research and Development has brought about a fundamental transformation of the learning process through MCLA.

MCLA allows learners to undergo training that is rooted in real world, learn in context to performance, build on what they know while learning from an expert and at the same time not overloading them with information.

Sunimal Weerasooriya, Managing Director of MMBL CyberSkills, Master Franchisee of NIIT in Sri Lanka and Maldives said; "in addition to introducing the new Futurz Classic curriculum in Sri Lanka, NIIT has also introduced MCSE and MCSD Microsoft Certification training in all NIIT branches in Sri Lanka,".

He added "this would be a unique opportunity for the IT students in Sri Lanka to study for professional examinations in outstation locations through the extensive branch network of NIIT and these new developments at NIIT in Sri Lanka has made it possible for us to introduce the latest IT technologies to the Sri Lankan students."
