Sri Lanka’s dashing left-handed opening batsman, Sanath Jayasuriya, who scored a brilliant 253 on the fourth day of their first cricket Test against Pakistan at Faisalabad yesterday, waves to the crowd after completing his double century. His innings, helped Sri Lanka total 438 in their second innings. Sri Lanka made 243 in their first innings, while Pakistan replied with 264 leaving Pakistan to make 418 runs to win. (Reuters)

Remains of four Lankans arrive tomorrow

The Public Communications Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday confirmed that the remains of the four Sri Lankan women employees who were killed in a highway accident in Saudi Arabia will be flown to Sri Lanka tomorrow, Oct. 25.
