'Living Waters' for drought relief by Mahes Perera A band of popular singers and musicians spearheaded by Noeline Honter will stage a gospel concert for drought relief to help alleviate the misery of the people in the Anuradhapura, Puttalam, Mannar and Moneragala districts.
The concert entitled 'Living Waters' will be held at the Bishop's College Auditorium on Friday October 29 commencing 7 pm. Featured besides Noeline will be Natasha, Shanelle, Clifford Richards, Druvi de Silva, and groups Mirage Deja vu, Ezra and Charles Mark. Well known gospel singers who will make an appearance are Adele and Lohan Bibile, Juanita Barbutt, Melanie Bibile, Aanjanee Jayasooriya, Roshi Wickramaratne and Druvi Jayamanne. The singers will be backed by - Kumar de Silva - keyboards, Udaya Welikala - keyboards, Chris Wickramanayake - keyboards, Kamal Perera and Primal Liyanage - guitars. Others are Leonard Vittachi, Vaughn Herat, Ranjan Josiah, Dharshana Perera and Roshan de Silva. According to Noeline the concert will include a state-of-the-art laser light show, seen for the first time at a musical concert. Undoubtedly a major event and all participating musicians very rightly are performing on a complimentary basis and such a line-up deserves your patronage.
