Arpico Plastishells compost bin

Arpico Plastishells has now introduced a compost bin to the market as a solution to housewives who are searching for a remedy on how to dispose of their kitchen and garden waste, which accumulates daily in their homes.

This product which is termed the 'Arpico Plastishells Compost Bin' can be used as a receptacle to deposit domestic waste and garbage with the exception of non-decaying plastic or glass material. What is special about this product is, initial reaction will take place in three months and thereafter compose can be removed every week.

Thus the 'Arpico Plastishells Compost Bin' promises two advantages to housewives. One, it offers a solution on what to do about domestic waste and garbage. Two, it also delivers compost fertilizer whereby they can increase their home garden harvest instead of using chemical fertilizer. If they wish they can even supplement their income by selling the extra compost fertilizer.Though solidly built it is light in weight and adequate for an average home. It has a capacity of 160 litres.

It rests on a solid plastic or concrete base, which prevents small creatures such as mice from making their way into it.

The 'Arpico Plastishells Compost Bin' has been manufactured recently at the Arpico factory at Mattegoda by using ultra modern Rotomould technology. The design has been based on experiments carried out by the Arpico Research and Development Unit, which has provided designs for plastic products at economical rates to meet the needs of consumers for the past 72 years.

The specialty of this product is that it is eco-friendly and recyclable. It is a result of experimentation carried out by our Research and Development Unit in an effort to create a domestic waste disposal product suited to an average family.
