Heroin in false bottom One kilo of heroin worth Rs. 2.5 million concealed in a false bottom of a bag was detected by the Talaimannar Police on Friday following a routine check on the baggage of a refugee. The heroin was concealed in the bottom of a travelling bag and covered with plywood sheet to avoid detection. The detection was made by Inspector N. E. Silva, HQI Talimannar. (J.J.) |
