Budget passed: Majority 34 The Second Reading of the UPFA Government's maiden Budget was passed in Parliament yesterday by a majority of 34 votes with 126 voting for and 92 against. The JHU, CWC, EPDP and SLMC rebel MPs voted with the Government. The UNP and TNA voted against. |
