Mobile banking by Seylan In its endeavour to reach out to remote villages in the Anuradhapura District, Seylan Bank deployed five computerized mobile banking units controlled by the Anuradhapura Branch. This is the first time in Sri Lanka that such flexible banking arrangements using mobile units have been deployed under the purview of one branch. The five areas covered under this first stage are Thanthirimale, Padaviya, Thambuthegama, Rambewa and Galenbindunuwewa in the Anuradhapura District. These computerized mobile banking vehicles will provide the necessary banking facilities to the villages from 10.00 a.m. o 1.00 p.m. on week days. Director/General Manager/Chief Executive of Seylan Bank, Ajith Pasqual ceremonially launched the first phase from the Seylan Bank's Anuradhapura Branch on 03rd December.
