HNB, EPT partnership for ONE- PASS solution

by Elmo Leonard

Hatton National Bank (HNB) last week went into partnership with Enhanced Processing Technologies (EPT) Australia to provide EPT's ONE-PASS solution to implement cheque imaging and truncation services for the bank's operations.

EPT is a joint venture company established between ANZ Banking Group Ltd and the Australian KAZ Group. ONE-PASS carries a trademark. EPT has been setup to leverage the experienced gained by both parties during the implementation of the ONE-PASS product in the ANZ business products processing business and to further commercialise the product following successful implementation, the media was told.

The solution will enable HNB to leap into the latest banking developments and shorten processing timeframes by electronically imaging and truncation queues for clearance. It will offer HNB clients benefits in terms of online access to images, improved customer services and funds availability, HNB's deputy general manager operations PR Nayagam said.

EPF's ONE-PASS system is a fully integrated document imaging, data capture, workflow and image archive solution.
