Scandinavia and South Asia executive coaching

McQuire Rens and Jones (Pvt) Ltd., Sri Lanka, an organisation involved in the field of Business Consulting and Corporate Training and Arena Kompetanse, Norway, an organisation which develops educational programs on the Net and coaching collaborated to share expertise in the field of Executive Coaching for top teams and senior management teams in Corporate organisations, in Scandinavia and South Asia.

Executive Coaching is the newest form of personal effectiveness building for directors and senior managers of progressive corporations worldwide.

This practice has been adopted by several bluechip companies in Sri Lanka and India.

Managing Director and CEO of McQuire Rens and Jones (Pvt) Ltd., Nalin Jayasuriya visited Norway last month to finalise the joint collaboration between the two companies. Jayasuriya carries out Executive Coaching for the top teams of Ceylon Tobacco Company Ltd., and New Zealand Milk Products Ltd.

Managing Director of Arena Kompetanse Kjell Veivaag, is a Judge in the Conciliation Board, City of Oslo and was the former Commissioner for Culture and Education, Oslo Vievaag has wide experience in executive coaching and educational programs in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Hungary and Sweden.

He has set up the Yantai Mi International Business School, in China. The collaboration between McQuire Rens & Jones (www.rensj.com) and Arena Kompetanse, has already attracted inquiries from Bangladesh and Singapore.

Jayasuriya said that there is great scope for executive coaching in Sri Lanka not only for the private and public sector organisations, but also for cabinet ministers, parliamentarians and the top brass of the Armed Services and the Police Department.
