Inspired by the compassion of people extended towards their fellowmen during the recent tsunami, bhikkus from all over the world met at the BMICH yesterday to form an international Buddhist relief service arm to streamline such assistance in the future. Nayake Theras of the Three Nikayas and other sectors of several countries and Buddhasasana Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake were present at the forum which was co-organised by the Buddhist Resource Centre and Asia Buddhist Congress.
