No hike in fuel price by Rohan Mathes Power and Energy Minister Susil Premajayantha rules out a petrol price hike in the immediate future. Minister Premajayantha told the Sunday Observer yesterday that there has been some confusion among the relevant authorities and panic among the general public that a price hike was imminent. "The CPC had informed the Treasury of differences which they customarily do on a monthly basis. However, this will not affect the prices for the time being", he noted. |
