ICBS achieves ISO 9001:2000 quality accreditation ICBS has achieved the ISO 9001:2000 Quality accreditation. This has been awarded to ICBS after a thorough audit by DNV, a Netherlands based ISO accredited certification body. ICBS Chairman Ravi Mahendra said "I am delighted to see that we are going through a quality wave, first it was the quality partnership awarded by CIMA, then we achieved spectacular results with many world prizes and now it is the ISO. All this is testimony of our passion and dedication". He said that 'ICBS achieved exceptional results in the recent November 2004 CIMA exams, the results of which were released recently. We have two out of 12 world prizes and six out of the 12 Sri Lankan prizes. The youngest ever world prize winner in CIMA's history and the youngest passed finalist of this session, Mahendra is an ACMA and ACCA and holds an MBA from the University of Warwick UK. S. Sivabaskaran, the Director/General Manager said that ICBS had become the number one business school in Sri Lanka within a short period of time. The number one status has been achieved in terms of results, quality as well as other facilities offered to students, he said. Nisha Hathiramani, the Operations Manager said that hard work, commitment and dedication have lead to ICBS achieving this feat. |
